KAREN NEWHOUSE, DTM

 

Karen has given trainings and keynotes across the state on the topics of building teams, collaboration and leadership. She has honed her public speaking skills through membership in Toastmasters International and is recognized as a Distinguished Toastmaster by the organization. Karen is the Immediate Past District 62 Director having lead and served over 88 clubs with over 1500 members.

Her professional life has spanned both the not-for-profit and the for-profit world. The last 12 years have been spent in the area of logistics, specifically supporting analytics and reporting and facilitating master data governance. Her presentation today is “Lessons in Collaboration from ‘The Little Engine that Could’”.
