Help Us Keep Our Shelves Full!

Hunger is urgent and constant. On average, 700 people receive food from Loaves & Fishes every day. The shelves empty as soon as we can fill them. But you can help feed those in need. With just $1, Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes can provide enough food for 3 meals.

To make a tax-deductible donation right now to our organization, please fill out and submit the form below.

To make a gift by mail, send your check made out to Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes to 901 Portage Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49001. To make a gift by phone, call Greta at 269-488-2617 x208. click here to DONATE ONLINE

Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes got its start in several downtown Kalamazoo congregations in the early 1980’s. A group of individuals recognized that their neighbors were struggling to put food on the table so they took up the charge to fill the food gap. What they didn’t know at the time is that their initiative to lend a hand would have a profound impact on our community. Today, those efforts have grown into an organization that, while no longer religiously affiliated, welcomes people of all faiths. With help from people of all beliefs and backgrounds, we provide an average of 700 people with groceries each day.

Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes is a 'Food Bank Plus.' This means that we acquire food through donations and our pennies-on-the-pound purchasing power, and distribute food at 73 distribution sites throughout Kalamazoo County via our five food programs.

Our Mission
Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes will feed hungry people and engage our community in the fight to end hunger.

Our Values

Respect * Diversity & Inclusion * Stewardship & Accountability * Integrity * Collaboration * Urgency * Service

At APICS, we know that there’s more to supply chain than management, more to performance than process and more to people than position descriptions.

The world of supply chain management never stops advancing—and neither should supply chain professionals or their organizations. Wrapping the world, supply chains both enable and inspire human and economic possibility. However, to reach their potential they require savvy operators, supervisors and leaders with the necessary knowledge and know-how.

APICS fills this gap. We’re known for our ability to develop supply chain talent and elevate end-to-end supply chain performance. Nobody does this better than we do. From education and certification to benchmarking and best practices, APICS sets the industry standard.

We are essential partners in transforming the way people do business, drive growth, and reach global customers. It’s complex and it’s simple. We develop people, people improve supply chains, supply chains improve companies and the whole world economy benefits. Together with our members, partners and customers, we are united in our commitment to global supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience—achieved one person and one supply chain at a time.

About Boatyard Brewing
The Best Idea Ever

Please join us on our great adventure.  During the summer of 2011, Dan Gilligan and I decided to form a brewery that will create exceptional craft beers.  From this singular idea, the Boatyard Brewing Company has been born and our lives are changed forever.

Since then, Dan and I have spent countless hours developing some of the best traditional ale recipes, as well as our own unique offerings.  After sharing hundreds of samples and listening to honest reviews, we are now satisfied that we have the craft beer recipes needed to build a successful brewery.

We would like all of you to join us on our journey; not just as customers, friends and suppliers, but as members of the BBC family.  Come along for the ride, enjoy our craft beers, and help make Michigan the best place to live.
